The D/D/1 Queue

• The D/D/1 deterministic (nonrandom) queue has
  • Deterministic arrivals (periodic with period = ).
  • Deterministic service times (each service takes
    exactly ).
  • As well as 1 server and an infinite length buffer.

• If the arrival rate is less than the service rate () then there is
  no waiting in a D/D/1 queue.
